MEGABAND 2026 was our first attempt to bring band students from different schools across South East Queensland together in a non-competitive setting... offering something different to Eisteddfods and Festivals. The goal was to create Australia's largest school Concert Band.

The amazing Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre (QSAC) Stadium has been home to Commonwealth Games, international athletics meets, and even rock acts like AC/DC, Guns 'n Roses, and Michael Jackson. The Western Stand of the stadium allowed for shade, break-out rooms, and a decent acoustic.
